Really, whose idea was Diet Mt Dew
I have been asking the same question about regular Mountain Dew since I was a kid.
Although it was invented far earlier, it didn't hit the national scene until 1964. I was nine years old when it came out and to me it tasted like a different kind of dew altogether so after a couple of tries I've never touched it again. I can only imagine what the diet version tastes like...

it's all in what you make up your mind to do. I was addicited to Diet Coke, preferrably Sonic Vanilla Diet Coke. I have not had but one (1) small sip of any soda since the start of my pre-op diet last Jan. Truthfully, I must say that I do miss them, but it is small price to pay for having lost 100 lbs. That feels so much better than any soda would taste.

I watched a documentary about people who live in the Appalachias. It said Mtn. Dew is super popular there and they have huge dental and health issues because of it. I thought it was strange but as they interviewed people, one of the questions was "How much Mtn. Dew do you drink per day?" and it was shocking.
I love it but never drink it anymore.
