Hormone changes!

This of course is for you ladies!

Have any of you experienced any hormonal changes since having your surgery and losing a lot of weight?

Well...sort of...but haven't lost a lot of weight (well, as in comparison to some). My hot flashes have returned and my cycle changed by five days.

I had a cycle a week after my surgery in July but I haven't had another one since then. It's now close to the end of Sept. and I haven't had one in August and still haven't had one....thought I was pregnant at one time and took a test it came out negative but I thought after losing a considerable amount of weight that my cycle would come back normal.

Fat stores hormones so until you are done loosing weight your hormones can be all over the place!! My periods were much heavier the first few months post op then leveled out then became non existant and now seem to be back but very light. I'm 18 months out.
