I got it in my head I'm gaining weight back!
I've been doing pretty good so far, could stand to exercise a bit more but I keep looking at myself in the mirror and only notice I'm a bit smaller but not to much. Yeah Yeah I know I didn't put the weight on overnight and it's not going to come off overnight either....but being two months out I feel I only lost 10 more lbs added to my 54 lbs that was lost already! Am I doing it right? 64 lbs is good for being two months out? I'm thinking about going back on Cream of Wheat and Oatmeal for one day a week and drinking water all day.
I just feel I should be doing more.
I struggling to find the words to reply to your post. You've lost 64lbs in 2 months. You have no reason to be concerned with re-gain at this point unless you are completely disregarding your meal plan. Doing a day each week without any protein is foolish. If anything, I would give up the oatmeal & cream of wheat. Stick to your meal plan & move for 30 min. a day.
If you aren't seeing a counselor, meeting with a nut., or going to a real life support group -- please find one. Most of us have problems with our head catching up with the image in the mirror and you need the support.

I was a 'light weight,' but it took me about 6 or 7 months to lose what you have lost in 2 months. You are doing GREAT with your weight loss.
You may be having more of an issue seeing the loss because while we are so self critical, we also don't really see how big we are until we start losing and we really focus on that. If you haven't done it already, you should see about having your husband take photos of you in front of a door, front, back and profile... and take them once a month. It will help you to 'see' the progress. Also, be sure to take your measurements monthly. They will show you progress when you are having trouble 'seeing' it in the mirror or on the scales.
Keep up the good work,

It is really hard the first few months and maybe years after surgery, to believe that it will work for you or that you will make it work. I'm 7 months out, 95 pounds lost and I still fear that I will step on the scale and see the number I was pre-surgery. Totally illogical, but still a real fear.
Definitely, if you have access to a support group, use it!!!!
