I have been using this for the last 3 years with my lapband as I had a hard time with pills.
I was reading the ingredients and it contains High fructose corn syrup. So I'm a little scared
that it might be something I'd dump on. I'm only 3 weeks and have not dumped yet, I'd just like to hear from anyone who has used it or has dumped on high fructose corn syrup.

There probably isn't enough to do you any harm.

How many grams of sugar is in one dose?  If it's only a small amount of HFCS, it probably will not make you dump.  If it's a lot, though, it might.

Were you having a hard time with pills due to the band?  Do you still have trouble with them?

it doesn't say how many grs of sugar, it just lists it in the "inactive ingredients" portion of the label.
I had a terrible time with pills with the lapband. I discovered accicdentally that the only things I might be lucky with were round pills. Capsules, caplets almost always got stuck and came back up. The worst time was when I had lymes disease and everytime I took the doxcycline
they'd come back up, undigested of course. So far with the RNY everything has been round, I did take extra strength tylenal caplets with no problem YAY! but I still have 3 bottles of rapid blast in the cabinet.

You could call the manufacturer and ask how much sugar is in it, if you're concerned about it.

I took this after surgery and had no problems. I do not think the sugar content is that high.

I can't imagine there being more than 10 grams of sugar in a small dose.  As for
dumping, most everybody pushes the limits of either sugar or fats eventually
to see what their limit is. At some point, you'll be able to look at a food and tell
if you're likely to dump.  It is unpleasant, but I don't seem to have a dramatic
response to sugar (although I don't pu**** very far) or fats, and I'm careful
about those. I get a rapid heartbeat, I feel yucky, my stomach is a bit upset
and at its worst, I felt like I needed to lie down for about 20 minutes. I have
not had vomiting, diarrhea, fainting or the sleeping stupor that can follow.
I also recover within 30 minutes, usually about 20. I can eat a couple of TBSP
of real peanut butter, for example, while some people can't because of the
fats. I can also eat a regular cookie once in a while or a few bites of cake
or pie, and fruits don't seem to cause me problems.  You should be aware
of dumping and what causes it and how you react, but don't be terrified.
Once you know what causes you to dump and how you react, you're really
more in control and less likely to have an unpleasant incident in public.

Now with that said, NO, I don't recommend that you find out right away. So, no
pushing the limits early out. But when you start adding more foods and some
fruits etc., you'll figure out what your tolerance is.

Good luck!
