Thank Goodness back on track for the 7th.
I'm not feeling very well today, scratchy throat, pain at the back of my nose, muzzy head, you know the sort of thing, a definite cold on the way. Anyway the day got better when I got a phone call at work from my Pre-Op nurse. I've had issues lately because having had a heart attack last Nov. I just found out I need the all clear from a cardiac Dr and need an urgent appointment to get it. Well although we have a fantastic NHS it's not always easy to get a very fast appointment. Looked like my op might get put off a few weeks/month. Well this mornings phone call was to tell me that he'd been in contact with the Dr who led my cardiac stuff and he'd signed me off as I'd been such a text book case and had no problems etc. and I'd also done a cardio re-have course too which was mostly physio etc.
I'm so pleased because it means I'm good to go and the op can be done on the 7th as planned.
You have no idea how great that feels.
Just had to tell you all the good news. Hope everyones going to plan.
