Update on endoscopy today

I just left the hospital and it indeed was a stricture. The opening was only 8mm. He opened it to 12. Gotta go back the 27th for another one. Hope this gives me relief

Did he say what it was supposed to be? I had mine opened to 10 last week and he said he would have to do it again, and I was wondering how big is normal?

 When I first had a stricture is was 8mm too. The Dr. dilated it to 12mm or 14mm. I had to go back  to get it done again because my surgeon's goal was to get to 18mm. It had gone down to 10mm. Luckily, once I went up to 18 I was good to go. Also, it's amazing how much better you feel once it has been dilated!

Ok wll I stand corrected. As my girlfriend told me he opened it from 8 to 12 but it closed to 10 so I have to go back. I could've sworn he said 16mm but I could be dead wrong cause I was sooo out of it
