food question
What does your doc's meal plan say?

if your on pureed foods...then go for it and puree it...if your on liquids still i would not do anything like this..but if your on soft foods then go for it..chew it up good and take a long time to eat. I just put turkey/beef meatballs in the oven not 10 minutes ago..lol But i am 7 weeks out and i have been eating them for about 2 weeks now. But i am on soft foods... Following your food plan is the safest way to proceed....

i'm on soft foods but haven't been too adventurous. my family was having meatballs(and spaghetti) for dinner and it was getting the better of me...i wanted to try it... i wasn't brave enough- i hid in another room while they all ate together- mostly b/c i was jealous & pissy...but maybe i'll try with the leftovers.

Every day is a test....choose wisely!
You would have to try a meatball and chew well and see how it does. At
your stage I had a swedish meatball with some gravy and 3 bites of split
pea soup. I did fine, but everybody is different. I would not try the pasta yet
if I were you as sticky foods like pasta, rice and bread are more
troublesome early out, but whatever you do, take it slow and easy. I
still don't eat pasta but make cook-all-day spaghetti sauce and I put it
over squash or eggplant.
