Anyone have problems getting approved with Excellus Healthy Blue?

 Hi, newbie on the board here. I'm 36 years old, 5ft tall and 245lbs. I've struggled with my weight since I had my first son at the age of twenty, have gained and lost weight over and over each time gaining more. I attended a bariatric seminar and have made the decision to have gastric bypass because I want to regain control of my life. I am tired of being held back by my weight and I am ready to become healthy permanently and start living again. I have a consult scheduled with the surgeon on 11/4/11 and I know I am a candidate for the procedure d/t my BMI is over 46, I have HTN, GERD, and joint pain. I am driving myself BONKERS worrying about whether my insurance will approve the procedure. I have Excellus Healthy Blue. Does anyone have any experience with this company? Thanks for any responses.
