zumba WII game or zumba DVDS?

ok, how do you feel about the zumba WII game...easy to follow? easy to learn the fast moving steps, how is it using the remotes, do you use 1 or 2 of them? does it keep track of your calories burned etc?

who has the zumba DVDS? same questions, i know they will not track your calories burnt..but easy to follow the fast moving steps?

i am trying to decide between the 2 of them....i have the gold gym dance workout for the WII game and i did just the short practice steps for the merengue and holy jiggers that in itself was a workout, i was just trying to get the steps down..and they were moving very slow....and it was less than 2 min long...i also have the WII fit..just have not used it for a long time..so i need to resync it...

anyhow going to work out in a gym is not feasible right now, the weather is getting cold to go in my pool...i have a treadmill, but i am getting bored with that..i just got the country line just dance, but was not too impressed with that..but i LOVE to dance so looking to make some changes, but need low impact due to bad left knee and bad back..

thanks for any help you guys have on these
have a great day

i'm not a huge fan of it, but i don't really love any of the wii "workout" games and i own a good number of them. i do like it better than the gold's gym dance one though, and the just dance ones are probably my favorite just because of the music, although it bothers me that it doesn't go straight through

I have the wii game and I like it. It's not the same as actually going to a workout. It has a section on it that goes through the moves and they repeat them a lot. It also has different levels to use. There's a beginner and so forth. I found it easy to follow and they put a really short break in after the songs to ge****er or just catch your breath. I only use one remote and it comes with a belt that you can put the remote in. I haven't played it in awhile since it's been missing since I moved lol but I don't remember it keeping track of calories burned.

I have Zumba WII, however, I have never played it. It's on the "one of these days" list. I have been doing WII fit quite a bit lately so that kind of breaks up the walking. I find if I over do it on the WII fit, I can feel it pretty good the next day. I am only a week and 1/2 out so I have to keep reminding myself to take it easy.

My daughter has the Wii zumba and loves it. She takes an actual class 2 or 3 days a week and uses the Wii the other days.

I have both and I recommend the DVD's over the Wii version 10 to 1.  The DVD has so many options, plus a toning session.  I just did not find the Wii version very appealing.  It comes with this belt that goes around your wait to hold the remote, but for someone just starting their journey, they may have difficulty with the belt going around the waist.  Hands-down for me is the DVD version.  Hope this helps!

I actualy have 2 sets of the Zumba and I love it. It's very easy to follow.  Love the choice of music and it has a cd so you can learn the steps and a calendar guide for the work outs. Game Zumba for me was difficult . I would vote for the Dvds.
