Update!

well I heard back from my surgeon regarding my labs.  I was concerned about my HA1C being 11.4 - 6 months out from surgery.  He wants me to follow up with my PCP.  I see my PCP on Monday.  I do not want to go backon insulin or any oral meds.  Any suggestions?  I feel great.  No signs or symptoms of hyperglycemia.  I just want to be normal is all and not have to test my BS's or take shots :(

I still think the result must be a mistake...it just doesn't make sense, esp with no symptoms.  Get a retest.  Or short term, get test strips from Walmart and check your glucose.
