Much to be THANKFUL for!

I am down 100.5 lbs as of this morning!! I'm almost 10 months out from RNY. I thought this day would never come! My weightloss has been very slow the past 6 weeks and I had been at a stall for the past 2 weeks. Only 10 more pounds to go until I hit my personal goal weight! (Although I might change my goal weight to be lower than what I originally set it at.)

Anyways, I'm so thankful that I had this surgery. It's changed me in so many positive ways! I'm much healthier now, I'm so much more active, my back doesn't hurt, I sleep more soundly and I just plain feel AWESOME about myself!

This was the BEST decision I've ever made!

Tomorrow I will be 10 months post-op and must say this was the BEST decision I could have made as well.  I am down 140 lbs from my highest a year ago and an hopeful to lose another 15 lbs in the next 2 months.  I met my surgeon's goal of -129 so I am trying to reach my goal.  My weight loss has slowed down as well - I may stay at the same weight for a week or 2 and then lose 3 or 4 lbs, then stay at that new weight for a few weeks before losing again.  I try to get in all my protein and liquids, but some days are harder than others.

I went from a size 26/28 to a size 12 in pants and from a 3x/4x to a L in shirts.  My 10W shoes are loose too!  It's a GREAT feeling to wear smaller clothes and to walk by a mirror and not really recognize yourself!
