I see my surgeon tomorrow for my 6 month post op visit & just got my lab results online from my clinic's website.  I want to be prepared for my visit tomorrow & would love to have you give me some feedback on my lab results.  Are there things I should be concerned about?  I know often times that Docs. say things are fine, but in reality may not be.  Thanks in advance for your comments.

In my opinion, they arent even close to being complete.
I will let Kelly explain that further though, she is better at it.

Donna is right, you are missing LOTS of stuff here.

It looks like they did a CMP because I see most of the tests included in that.  But where is the total protein?

You are missing vitamin D, vitamin A, ferritin, PTH, thiamine, folate, B6, vitamin E, vitamin K, copper zinc, selenium, phosphorus and magnesium, at least.

Of those listed here, your iron is wonderful.  Your B12 is too low.  Are you tired lately?  It's low enough to make you feel tired and depressed.  Ideally it would be around 1000.

Thanks for your feedback.  I asked them to do a Total Protein.......& they said they would so when I saw the TP-PLA I thought that was Total Protein.  Based on your comment, I was wrong.  I will have to ask when I see the Dr. tomorrow.

Oh, that probably is total protein.  The PLA threw me off.  7.3 is a very good protein level.
