Been a while since I've made an appearance on here....
How is everyone doing?
I'm almost five months post-op and total weight loss of today is 89 lbs! I'm doing very well, have aches and pains sometimes in my shoulders and knees but that's because there is no longer fat in those areas to cushion the bones. But I keep doing my stretches, walking, exercises to build strength in these areas.
I can now eat a little bit more than 6 tablespoons or fork full of food....now I just put the fork down after each bite and sit for a minute before taking my next bite! As far as food, there are a lot of things I do not miss, like sweets, fast foods, fried foods, pasta.....I just ate bagel thins for the first time a few weeks back and could only eat half of one whole bagel thin, which is good...no problems.
