numb tongue anyone?

Anyone ever have the tip of their tongue go numb? The tip of my tongue goes numb every once in a while, doesn't seem serious, just wondering if anyone else has experienced this.

 I am sure it's nothing to be worried about, but I would consult my doctor about it. Any numbness of the face/head is worth having a look at. 

No clue what this could be, but the first thought that went through my head (other than you should call your doctor) is whether or not you're taking your B-12? 

Uh, I've had my tongue go nub a few times do to hypoglycemia. Do you have any other symptoms?

Doesn't seem to be any other symptoms, just the tip of my tongue. I have taken B-12, but not regularly. I will definately mention it to Doctor. I am going to keep track of when it happens to see if I am doing something to cause it like having a tylenol, or eating a specific food, etc. Thanks for the input, I think I should also get new bloodwork done as well. ( I had dealt with hyperglycemia since I was young, but haven't had any issues since surgery, so I will also look into that as well, thanks!)
