recipe gurus question
Made a concoction which was pretty darn yummy, but think there are ways to tweek it even more, So looking for ideas. Here is what I did:
One medium apple, skinned, sliced thin (I can't do the skins)
Spray slices with ICBINB spray
Add 2T PB2
Add 2 packets of Splenda
Add scatn 1/4 cup of plain instant oatmeal
Mix all together and place in microwave for 3 minutes (I stirred half way through)
Any other ideas? It didn't have as much of a peanut butter taste as I would have liked but I did enjoy it.

I make a "bundt" cake thing in the microwave, and I've used tiny bits of fresh
apple, although I prefer no-sugar added applesauce.
Put 1/3 c. Heart Healthy Bisquick (or something similar) in a good sized, regular
soup bowl. Add an egg (or eggbeaters) and a snack-sized cup of applesauce,
plus cinnamon. You can also add some protein powder if you like. Put it in
the microwave and nuke it for a coupla minutes. It puffs all up in the bowl
like a bundt cake. Top it with whatever you like. I put some blueberries and
sweetener in the microwave and get them hot and mush them up a bit- pour
over the top and add a dollop of cool whip. YUM! My sister loves this when she
comes to visit. You can top with any fruit or syrup etc.
As I mentioned, I have made this with tiny apple bits mixed in, but the applesauce
makes it very moist and yummy so if I use apples, I make a sauce with them and
pour it over the top.
