What can you eat? I have done well on berries of all types.
I am dying for a banana, but the starchy sugar scares me.....
Tell me your fruity favorites!

My instructions allow all fresh and canned fruits after 8 weeks. Whether, or not you feel comfortable would depend on if you are diabetic or not. I'm out 4 1/2 months and have to go easy on most fruits. I eat rolled oats with blueberries about every other day but strawberries are saved for putting a couple in yogurt once or twice a week. I try to split a banana with DH. 1/2 is plenty for me. You just have to go slow in the beginning.

I eat all fruits in moderation. I can eat half a banana or half a good sized apple.
I try to have protein with my fruit...so, yogurt or peanut butter or cheese or
something like that.

I put a whole banana in my protein shake with 1/2 cup OJ and 1/2 skim milk.  add 2 squirts of SF Vanilla syrup and I have had no problems.

I eat any fruit but use bananas as a pre or post exercise.  Frozen berries are my number one though.

Berries are the only thing I can tolerate in larger quantities (up to 1 c). Apples, I can do about a quarter but a half sends me dumping, as did watermelon. Try combining your banana with PB and see if that moderates the sugar for you.

Hi I am only three and half weeks out. I buy baby food for fruits. I know it sounds yukky but it is the first step to eating fruits for me.

I'm 12 weeks out and I eat bananas.  Ive added a few frozen slices to my shakes since the beginning.

The only fruit I have had problems with are apples I think because they are hard and I probably didnt chew well enough.  Applesauce is fine.

I just had my first grapefruit the other day.  I even had a little OJ this morning!
(my liver enzymes are high and it was suggested to add citrus)
