Yea... saw that and really did not like it...
He made is sound like it is a walk in a park.  Easy lose weight instantly. Easy my ass...
There was only a couple o comments about vitamins post op... but nothing about long term maintance, or complications, etc...

He made it look that it is no big deal... you get it, you lose weight.  And you need to take vitamins.
And right from suregry - you are off all your medication...

And barely let the woman *****gained her weight speak at all.  Better than a lot of shows about WLS but sadly lacking.

I'll admit though, whenever I get stuck watching his show I feel an overwhelming need to stick a fork in my eye.

I DRV that... I wanted to know what he say about that... and since so many people watch him... and consider him "a genius, know-it all" I wanted to know what to expect.

Ditto.  I don't care how "pro-RNY" he is (yes, I watched it), he did a HUGE disservice not only to people who have NOT had it, but also to those of us who HAVE had it because he presented it as a simple easy solution to diabetes, obesity, sleep apnea, etc.   NOW try telling someone who saw the show that this is NOT the easy way out.  I can hear the responses now... "That's not what Dr Oz said..."

He IGNORED all of the potential serious complications and rudely cut off the woman who tried to talk about the importance of addressing the psychological/emotional contributors to obesity and how they are NOT eliminated after surgery.
