alka selzer plus night cold formula liquid gels...ok to take?

Got a cold, trying to figure out if I can take this or not.
Says it has acetaminophen, dextromethorpan dyrobromide, doxylamine succinate, and phenylepnrine hydrochloride in it....anyone taken these?

Thanks in advance...sucks to get sick and not know what you can take.

 I am just getting over a bad cold and yes it did suck...but I talked to my surgeons office and was advised to take the Tylonel Cold medicine or sudafed and nothing else.  I don't know if this is the norm, I am only 6 wks out but this is what I was told.

 I actually was at surgeon's office yesterday for my 1 week post op visit. I also have a cold right now and asked what I could take, she said basically anything that doesn't have a high alcohol or sugar content. Not sure if this helps. Hope you feel better soon!

Alka Selzer is on my list of NSAIDS that are not allowed.

 The tablets that you drop in water ?  I would be worried about the "fizz " part . I know its not a lot , but still . Best thing is to just call your Dr they may just be able to tell you over the phone .
