Trouble swallowing pills
Pill cutters and pill crushers are good at their jobs, but there ARE downsides.
The big downside to the crushers is that most medicines taste absolutely horrible. Mixing one into an entire snack-pack of sugar-free pudding *may* mask its taste, but not if you try to mix several pills into it. There are other posts here on OH attesting to this. Try it if you want, but you've been warned.
The downside to pill cutters is that the pill now has edges that are not smoothly rounded. I find that these edges make them hard to swallow, unless I can position the pill so that I don't feel those edges. Everyone is different. Most people aren't as sensitive to this as me. Good luck.
