OT: Anyone near houston/Spring Tx?

I had wls on 1/13 and would love to meet others who have made the choice that live near me as well. I dont have many friends here bc I find it hard to meet/trust people since i have made some bad choices in the past and am scared to meet people who still make those kinds of choices. Since everyone seems to be very honest and open and understanding here, I am a former drug user/addict. How ever you want to look at it. I want nothing to do with that lifestyle now and what to concentrate on positive changes and habits in my life. That is part of my past and has never been part of my life here in Texas. That was part of the reason for moving from Indiana. so back on topic....
I would love to meet/email/or talk to people from around my area to maybe build some friendships that way I can have and give support to others who have had wls. My mother in law had the surgery years ago and has been a wonderful support.
