what does a hernia feel like?

 I am 3 1/2 months out and for the last 2-3 weeks I have been having a pain right where my largest incision was made.  It started as a little nag when I was in a Zumba class.  I could put my hand on it and hold it tight and it seemed a little better. The next class it seemed to hurt a little more often and now for the last 2 weeks it is just a nagging constant pain.  It isn't the kind of pain that drops you to your knees or anything like that - just something I am aware of.  It doesn't seem to hurt if I am sitting at my desk or lying down, mostly it hurts when I am moving around.  I don't feel any kind of bump or anything like that.

Any guesses?

 I started to feel the same thing a couple of days ago . Reading everything I can about hernias and adhesions. I wonder if you can see one on a ultra sound. I'm starting to panic now
