Have you had your labs done? That's somtime a sign of low iron/anemia.

Or sleepwalking.

Bruising can very commonly be caused by deficiencies in certain vitamins, most notably vitamin C, vitamin E, vitamin K, and zinc.  Are you taking a good multi with sufficient amounts of these vitamins and zinc?

Not happened to me or anyone else I know personally who's had WLS, so I would defenitly talk to your doc and get some labs drawn.

Good Luck,

Maybe it's time for a new doctor.

I would call your doc's office and ask for an order for labs.  Make sure you get  a CBC, iron, B12 and vitamin K.  If for some reason you can't get an order for labs from your surgeon, call your PCP.

Please note: I AM NOT A DOCTOR.  If you want medical advice, talk to your doctor.  Whatever I post, there is probably some surgeon or other health care provider somewhere that disagrees with me.  If you want to know what your surgeon thinks, then ask him or her.    Check out my blog.

PCP - primary care physician. I would definitely try to see someone asap. I'm sure this isn't it, but bruising is also a sign of certain types of cancers so better to be safe than sorry and see someone asap. Good luck! I hope you get this figured out soon.

Nope, it happens to all of us. My doc explained it as the fat that was over your capillaries under the skin is now gone and the verins are being bumped where they weren't before. If you're concerned a lot - call your doc or have labs done, but for most of us it's normal. It doesn't last
forever. I think I had it the first 6 months. I did have labs done and all were ok.
