Hey everyone, I am now a little over 2 months post op and have noticed that i wake up with bruises all over my body! Has this been happening to anyone else? Should I be worried?
Not happened to me or anyone else I know personally who's had WLS, so I would defenitly talk to your doc and get some labs drawn.
Good Luck,

The doc office has been no help at all I had an apt on feb 23 an got my labs done that week and then they cancelled my apt until march 15 which is Thursday but since that time my bruising has gotten worse an I have been called to get my blood drawn again but it's impossible to get anything done with these ppl in that office
I would call your doc's office and ask for an order for labs. Make sure you get a CBC, iron, B12 and vitamin K. If for some reason you can't get an order for labs from your surgeon, call your PCP.
Please note: I AM NOT A DOCTOR. If you want medical advice, talk to your doctor. Whatever I post, there is probably some surgeon or other health care provider somewhere that disagrees with me. If you want to know what your surgeon thinks, then ask him or her. Check out my blog.

Hey Kelly question what is pcp? And I called my surgeon office today an the nutrionist is only in wed n Thursday and I told them my situation and they still wouldn't write me a prescription...I'm getting really worried now :/
Nope, it happens to all of us. My doc explained it as the fat that was over your capillaries under the skin is now gone and the verins are being bumped where they weren't before. If you're concerned a lot - call your doc or have labs done, but for most of us it's normal. It doesn't last
forever. I think I had it the first 6 months. I did have labs done and all were ok.
