Just keep drinking. Fluids go right through. You can't overdo it with fluids
by drinking normal amounts and if you're thirsty, by all means drink.
As for food, I'm guessing that you're on pureed or soft foods, so eat
really slowly and you should get full at 2-3 ounces if not before. The
more dense the food is the faster you will be full.  Your NUT or Dr. should
have given you instructions for after surgery and what to eat and when.
You can call your surgeon's office for advice, which I recommend.
I would also recommend that you measure your food (say 2 ounces),
eat that and stop. Don't try to eat until you feel full because you may
not feel full for a while after surgery and you can get uncomfortable
or get too full and vomit. The idea is not to put as much as possible
in your pouch, but to feed it small amounts throughout the day.
Call your surgeon's office and Good Luck!

If you have no idea how much you should be eating, perhaps it might be a good idea to contact the person/centre who performed your surgery.

Something I learned here don't eat until you feel fullYOU WON'T AFTER SURGERY FOR AWHILE! They cut your nerves so do the 2/3 oz and see what your dr says too!

It's important to measure your food according to your surgeon's guidelines.  Mine was about 1/4 cup initially, but I could never eat that much.

What does your surgeon say?

I second that. Folks need to be following their own surgeon's rules. They are all different!

And I took couldn't do a quarter cup when I was first out. I could do MAYBE a tablespoon of something. It amazed (and horrified)  me.

At that stage I was on fluid, I drank every 5 minutes and "ate" something every couple of hours...jello swished up in my mouth, broth sipping it as tolerated, protein drink. If you are already on pureed food then 2 oz or so every few hours was what I did. Cottage cheese 2 tablespoons, apple sauce 1 tablespoon, ricotta cheese, again very small amounts, tuna whizzed up with a little mayo, stuff like that. Give your nutritionist or surgery center a call as they should provide you with a plan for eating.

I see that the place you had your surgery has a support group meeting on the 25th.  I hope you get to go.  This could be quite helpful to you.  Sometimes they aren't but most are pretty good I believe.
