Any favorite blenders for protein shakes?

I start my 2-weeks of protein shakes this coming Monday. I was told for the optimum flavor use water and 5-6 ice cubes and blend it all up.

So, I have to go buy a blender. Before I hit the stores I figured I'd see if anyone has a favorite one that they use. . .the only one I really know about is the Magic Bullet from the TV ads.

Any suggestions are appreciated. . .

i have a blendtec. it's pricey though. if you've ever seen the youtube videos for 'will it blend' it's from there.

i love it though.

I'm with Dani. I can't LIVE without my magic bullet. I was forced to go to walmart the night mine finally gave up the ghost after 3 years of use. I use it everyday.

HW: 292 lbs. GW:160 lbs. Dream Weight: 140 lbs.

I will look up the Ninja and Blentec (sp?). . .I've not heard of either of them.

I am still considering the Bullet and you get 2 blenders for the price of one, though it was $100 on the website. I have heard from a few people who have it that it turns everything to mush. I don't know if that is a blender issue or an operator issue lol.
