OT: Making yogurt

I am stuck at home this week since I hurt my back on a fall down the stairs.  I am ok...just really bruised and swollen.

I have lots of leftover organic milk this week and I usually make yogurt with my extra milk with a 2 quart yogurt maker.  To two quarts of milk, I usually add 1/2 cup of plain yogurt and a couple of probiotic capsules...eight hours later I have two quarts of yogurt.

I am completely out of yogurt and can't go to the store right now for a small container.  Do you think I could substitue extra probiotic refrigerated capsules for the yogurt?

Thanks for the advice :)

You can try... but that did not work for me.  Some of the probiotics have many strains.. and not all of them make nice "yogurt". My milk turned into a smell mass I had to get rid of... and fast.
