Yesterday, I stopped in to the store to pick up my hubby some beer (kind of a tradition for out Saturday night BBQs...have to have SOMETHING to marinate my brats LOL) and I had my 20 yr old stepson with me. The lady looked at me and asked me for my ID. Of course, being ........ um, older than the legal limit....... I didn't mind pulling out my ID for her.
She took one look at my birth year and said no way...... she is apparently the same age as I am and she thought I was between 23 and 25!!!! WOW! My hubby said that these 85 pounds I have lost have really shaved the years off, but this was the first time that a complete stranger said I didn't look my age!
I was pretty used to people thinking my hubby and I were the same age (he is 13 years older than me).
