I need advice fast
August 3, will be three years since my gastric bypass. My hair is falling out again like it did at the beginning. I do not have medical insurance and need some free advice please. I take 3,000 Mg of bio ten a day. 2,500 Mg of b12, calcium citrate with d3 petites, chewable cent rum chew ables, the minimum of 65 grams of protein. My friend gave me a big container of the about time to see if it would help the hair loss. So far it has been a month and no change.

I have had it happen a few times over the years and it is usually protein deficiency with me.
your body may require more than 65

Are you taking iron? It may be an iron deficiency.

I take CVS's brand of "Vitron-C". Maybe start a new topic with the subject line "What iron do you take and how much?" and you'll get more responses.

Another option to consider is tender iron available by www.vitalady.com It's easier on the stomach and digestive system. Regular store bought iron has resulted in constipation every time for me, while I heard about the tender iron from vitalady and have had better results there. Hope you find what works for you!
Have you had your labs checked? What you are taking and the amounts will be very different if you have deficiencies.
65 grams of protein seems way too low for 3 years out....I get 100+ just from food each day.
Sounds like you need a good physical with detailed blood work-the hair loss could be from some type of deficiency.

It could very well be deficiencies. Up your protein with shakes if necessary and add iron in if you aren't getting any. I'll go post on your other thread what I take, it seems to be the easiest on my stomach.
