hair appt friday to cover some loss

I have been noticing he large turfs of hair falling out in the shower for the last month or two,but now I am noticing it when I pull back my hair.  My hair stylist says she cannot see it,but I can :(  grrr...  Soooo, I made an appt for friday to have her work some magic.  I desperately need a hair cut, so she will do that and do lots of highlights to make me blonde :)--- my husband will like that, and I will like that there will not be such a stark contrast to my scalp!


Also, we are oing to Tampa (a 2 hour drive) to visit family for the weekend, so I am hoping for a tan to go with my new blond lockes ;)  Pictures forthcoming :)

One thing I know for sure: Blondes really DO have more fun.

I'm losing hair, too. I got my hair cut super-short 2 weeks ago. I've always wanted to have my hair this short, but I thought it would make me look like a huge balloon (my body) with a tiny knot (my head). I don't have to worry about that anymore!

I don't have air conditioning in my car so having super-short hair has been such a pleasure.

I noticed my hair falling out about a month ago. When I told my hairdresser (who's also my longtime friend & who had RNY 5 years ago), she said, "Get ready. It's just the beginning."

You know what? I can't worry about it! I'm so happy I'm getting slim that losing some hair (it gets caught in my eyelashes, it's all over my car's interior, it gets stuck in my lipgloss) is just a minor inconvenience.

Have a great time in Tampa! I miss Florida so much. Haven't been there since 3/2011.
