Best idea of what your calorie intake to lose weight would be meeting with your NUT to talk about what you're eating, what your RMR/BMRs are (involving calculations more precise than what online logs do), and to individualize your meal plan. However, short of that, it may be good to follow the calculations of whatever you're using to journal your food & exercise (MyFitnessPal, SparkPeople, etc) - basically if you're burning more calories than what you're consuming, then you should be losing. Also nifty to do, if you have access, is those tests where they measure the electrical conductivity of your body to measure fat % vs lean muscle mass% - I keep forgetting what they're called - but if you've been putting on muscle to replace fat, then the scale isn't going to show you THAT progress!

You may want to switch up what you do in the gym ...the body adapts and the less affective it will be.

I'm in the same boat. It's difficult to lose weight cause we've starved our bodies. I was trying to eat more, eat less, change what U eat, exercise more, exercise less, change how I exercise, but I'm still searching for the magic number.
Probably you should NOT eat the calories you burn, most machines drastically overestimate the number of calories burned. Mostly I use exercise to maintain, not to lose. To lose, I have to eliminate carbs and srink more water. Sometimes that works, but not all the time.

Let me know if you figure it all out.
