Im curious about how long did you wait before going back to work. I am a sign language interpreter and do sit most of the time but my hands and arms are constantly moving around.

I had Lap done and am a transcriptionist.  I was so bored that I begged the surgeon to let me go back.  I was out a total of 8 days including th weekend.  I too sit, but arms and fingers always going.  Just make sure you get fluids and protein in, I was fine as long as I did that.
