we need both. Ideally - you can get some that have combination.
K and K1 is important for clothing , K2 essential for bone health.

There are multiple brands of multi's that have no vitamin K in them.  But this vitamin is very cheap. Vitamin K also helps with clotting. I have severe bruising issues, and my surgeon's nurse suggested supplementing more vitamin K. Bruising is far less since I began supplementing with K, 400mcg dialy initially, and now 700mcg daily.  Puritan Pride has K and K2 on their list of specials--right now it's But 1, get 2 of the same size free.  I get my K1 this way, but unsure if the K2 is on the same special also.  yeah, my brusing is currently insance.  i know i need to go get labs drawn to see if it's a true deficency, but honestly i've had to supplement it before so i'm just assuming that's it.  i love puritian pride, i'll try there.  Thank you!

I never noted any shortage of K on labs nor was told that was an issue. But, I must tell you the bruises are far smaller and less noticeable, and they seem to go away within a few days instead of a couple of weeks. DAVE
