I have no idea whats going on........
So the past month now (maybe a little longer) I have been having this odd issue where EVERY time i heat NO MATTER what I eat it feels like my body is trying to have a panic attack/allergic reaction. My heart starts to beat faster FEELS like my throat is closing and having trouble swallowing (even though im really not just feels like it) I have been to my surgen and family doctor had lots of blood work done at both and noting..... all vitamin/mineral levels are fine couldnt find anything else and ONLY problem so far is my blood pressure drops about 30 points from sitting/laying to standing but i wouldt think that would have anything to do with eating.... Have ANY of you had this issue or anything even close to this if so PLEASE tell me what you did. (im 6 months post op)
im thinking there is a very good chance its an anxiety issue. My doctor gave me Xanax i had one of the "attacks" took one felt amazing figured ok maybe thats whats going on. Had another attack took one and it amplified the attack by like 1000x and i thought i was going to die so i REFUSE to take the xanax anymore. >.
Sorry to hear the problems you are having. Wondering about what foods you are eating.
I dont know if you are out far enough for this but have you tried just eating meat. Like two ounces of steak. Eat slowly and chew well....make sure it is very moist. Would something like this cause your heart racing?? Have you ever tried it?
Congrats on all the weight you have lost!!! Glad to hear all your vitamin and minerals are fine.
Hope your problem goes away.

Once it's figured out there is not a physical issue, such as an ulcer, or stricture, or even that you may be eating too fast...try asking for a referral to see someone for behavior therapy to help you deal with the anxiey. Although there are other meds you can try, WLS can change your absorption of the drug, or how it works, so can leave you pretty much in the situation you are in. I've read many posts that anxiety and depression can be common after WLS, so seeing a therapist is never a bad thing. I hope you get some good answers soon.
