 In addition to that, your doctor may not have you taking any vitamins right away.  I didn't start taking my multi vitamin until a week after surgery and the rest 1 month post op.  I am told to take B12 sublingual only once a week, not every day.  It's really best to just ask your doctor.

Yes, calcium and multivitamins needs to be taken atleast two hours apart. The schedule that my nurse gave me also states that calcium doses should be at least 2 hours apart also. It has been a scheduling nightmare for me because I take something every 2 hours to get it all in.

 this is only true if you are worried about absorbing the iron in the multi.  if you don't ,then it doesn't matter

big thing is the iron and calcium need to be taken seperate.
