Have you tried running yet?

I am up to three miles, but I keep working at it!

I am not fond of running but I AM fond of the biochemical effects it has on my mood. I feel like I can conquer the world after I run.

Congrats on finding a new passion.

This is exactly how I feel about running.....

It's really, really hard (for me anyway) and it's tedious (probably because I'm running on a treadmill) but I LOVE the way I feel afterward. So I continue :)

I have to admit I love the tediousness of watching the numbers...love the intervals!

My hubby and I are actually taking a couch 2 5k class starting the 16th.  My weight is coming off, but exercise is definitely where I'm lacking.  He has been doing a 10 week fitness program, and is continuing with it because he wants to do a mini-triatholon next summer.  He will likely be able to run circles around me...for now .  Here's hoping it's the kick in the pants I need to find a routine.

Great program! I did it a year and a half before I had the surgery. I can't believe now how much harder it was to run when I was so fat!

best wishes,

I hate running drives me freaking nuts!

But my 11 miles Monday morning was awesome! The sense of accomplishment when you finish is amazing.

Running has not been my friend recently suffering a few set backs from over training earlier in the season.  But I have my A race at the end of this month and will run with everything I have left.
