OT-more wedding dress updates
So I just got home from the wedding dress store to try on my dress for the first time. My wedding is 3 weeks from today. I've been so worried for WEEKS because I ordered it in may and let them know I'd be having surgery by August. So we decided the best bet was to order it a size down from my measurements. Problem is, none of my clothes are too big yet. So I was do scared it'd be too small on me. I told the seamstress and she assured me she could let it out a little. So I stepped into my dream dress, sucked it all in and held my breath for dear life. Then she starts yelling, "what do you mean, too small?!!" and let's go. I watched the top of the dress fall down to my waist. It's a size and a half TOO BIG!!!! She has to take it in from the bust all the way thru the hips! I couldn't even believe it. I stood there and looked in the mirror and cried for 10 minutes straight. I complain about my issues from this surgery every single day. But today, for the first time EVER since this surgery, I can confidently say this was the BEST decision I've ever made. I know I'll still have problems in the future, but I now know this was right. :)
