Weird feeling but nothing stuck

I don't know how else to explain this feeling other than it feels like something is at the bottom of my throat.  I haven't eaten anything that would get stuck though.  I have this thing about pureed meats, so I haven't tried those.  Is it my new hunger signal?  I felt like that this morning and I ate some grits and it went away but now it's back.  I haven't eaten anything since (shame on me) so maybe it is hunger.  I hate not being able to read my body!

 It's called Globus Hystericus.  Here's a good link:   http://www.wisegeek.com/what-is-globus-hystericus.htm .  I have the EXACT same thing and there's not much you can do about it.  It's REALLY obnoxious, but I've learned the more you don't think about it, the less of a feeling that it's there.  Because there's really nothing there!  I hate it.  I promise it gets better though!!!

Hello, get it checked out because I had the same problem and went to my doctor on Monday and just found out I have a stricture in my throat.

I am almost a year out and just now finding it.
