Just curious how much people at least 1 year post-op can eat at one sitting?

It depends. If it's something soft, like Greek yogurt, about 6-7 ounces. If it is dense protein like tuna or chicken, about 3 ounces.

I am 13 months out.

I fight badgers with spoons.

I'm 15 months out and I can eat about 3/4 cup of soft stuff or 2-3 oz of dense protein in a sitting. I actually had a bit of trouble with grazing recently so I have been posting my daily food log on another forum site to give myself a bit of accountability.

I'm about 15 months out and I can eat about 3-4 ozs of dense protein, 1/4 cup of veggies and maybe 1/8th of a cup of starch.

Soups more like a cup.. to 1 1/2 depending on how much "broth".  But I tend to stay away from soups unless pouchy is grouchy.. or if it's near that time of the month when my pouch is tight.

Typical day for me: (some days i'll add in a protein bar)

"Pre-breakfast" Diet Mt Dew

Breakfast - 3/4 of a egg & cheese crossiant.. (Some days only half) which take about 45 minutes to eat.

Snack - No sugar added cocoa or SF French vanilla coffee (de caf)

Lunch - 3-4 oz protien & fruit or crackers (depend on what I pack for lunch)

Snack - Breakstone's 4oz 2% cottage cheese cup w/ no sugar added peaches cup

Dinner - 3-4 oz protein, 1/4 cup veg, if room 1/8 to 1/4 starch

Snack - Typically something salty.. sometimes a 1/2 cup of no sugar added ice cream.

At about 17 months i'm down 140lbs and still loosing roughly 2-5lbs a month without trying.  I'm trying to find my balance to be in maintaince.

I am just shy of 14mths out and I can put away some groceries.   A typical meal might be 1/2c egg beaters (generic kind lol ), 2 slices of turkey bacon, slice of ww bread w/ either tomato or jelly,  2-3 mini sweet peppers

I can eat steak, shrimp, broccoli, sweet potato and salad.  Might not finish every bite, but I put a great big dent in it.

My favorite snack is 1/2c cottage cheese, 1/2c fiber one, 2-3 sliced strawberries and a Tbs of peanut butter.

All of that said - I also workout very hard several hours a week and have been training for a triathlon. I have a small hobby farm and I help my bedridden / wheelchair bound mom. My day starts at 9am and generally ends around 3am.  My dietitian and surgeon are fine with the amounts I eat because I have only 1x in over a year eaten enough to cause discomfort.... I just apparently use up the food I eat pretty quickly.
