I'm curious because I'm 10 weeks post op and I think I'm experiencing my first stall.  Only within the last 3 days have I been able to actually get ALL my protein in because I finally found a powder I LOVE!  Do you think with the increase in protein I will start losing again?  I also know I need to get exercising more.

I had a mini-stall at about 3 weeks, then again at about 3-1/2 months and then again at about 5 months. I don't worry to much about them, I just keep eating according to plan and all of a sudden the scale magically moves again!

It took me 10 weeks to find this one - it's called Nectar.  They have about 15 different flavors and I bought the Chocolate Truffle.  It tastes like chocolate milk and has 23 grams of protein per scoop.  I mix it with a cup of milk, which adds 8 more grams of protein and i put in a tsp of instant coffee and ice and throw it all in the blender for my morning protein shake - YUM!  They have a double stuffed cookie (oreo) that I want to try too.  HIGHLY recommend it!!!

That was me too...avoided them at all costs and was totally discouraged. You can buy $2 samples...try it and let me know what you think!!!!

I'm 11 weeks out and had my first stall a couple of weeks ago.  I actually had a 2 pound gain, stalled for 2 weeks then dropped 5! I increased my protein and exercise to break the stall.  Don't weigh any more often than once a week!

I've read a true stall is where you do not lose weight for 4+ weeks..with that being said I haven't had a true stall yet. I'm just over 9 months out. I have experienced a week or a week and a half without a loss..but never a full month..yet!

I had a stall at 4 weeks out and just started to lose again 4 1/2 weeks later.

Starting week two, I stalled for three weeks. Talk about frustrating! Now I'm nearly 4 months out and have learned my body's pattern of weight loss - lose a few weeks, maintain a few weeks, repeat. Now that I know the pattern, it makes the maintaining weeks a bit more bearable, knowing the scale WILL move again. Hang in there.
