TMI...Vaginal question
RNY on 09/17/12
Ok, this is a totally gross and embarrassing question but has anyone noticed a change in vaginal odor since surgery? I'm only a month out, but since surgery I've noticed a strong smell when I go to the bathroom. I don't notice it any other time, but I'm concerned about it. Is it because I'm not taking a probiotic?? Ketosis?? I'm going to make an appt with my doc but just wanted to hear what you all thought.

Ketosis will absolutely do that to you.

I've been battling repeat yeast infections since right before my surgery. I'd never had one before, so I got checked out. The most recent visit included a mega dosing of Diflucan, so we'll see if that works. If not, it's on to something stronger.
I had taken probiotics before, but with limited success. It may help, though.
