My own little NSV

Tomorrow morning, I'll be participating in my FIRST ever charity 5K! I'm only doing the walk, only 3.1 miles. I've done that distance before in my previous weight loss attempts, but it always took over an hour. Tomorrow, I'll be doing it in about 45 minutes! That may not seem like much, but to me, it's HUGE! I'm SO excited and can't wait. I've wanted to do so much for different charities for so long, but never dreamed I'd be crossing a finish line for it. I've already registered for a second 5K on December 1. By next summer, I plan to be able to actually RUN these races.
And on a side note, I'm loving my scale today. Just over 60 lbs down in less than 3 months. :)
So excited, just wanted to get to share with you guys.

Awesome! And next summer is way do-able as a goal for running. You might even surprise yourself by training for an earlier 5k or further!
I've only been training formally since August for my first Half-Marathon and just ran 9.5 miles this morning; the training kicks your butt, but it is amazing how much you can achieve with time & effort!
