I have bad knees and walking is hard so want to start swimming in the local indoor pool but can't find a bathing suit thats less than $80 in a size 28, and don't want to spend that much for a suit that hopefully will only fit a few weeks
 any ideas

How about a tank top with a sports bra underneath for support and a pair of swimming shorts with a drawstring waist?

Try ebay..you might find a deal since it's out of season now.

I would check Amazon too - there were a few on there over the summer that were much cheaper.

I think I might have a couple that I threw in my pile of clothes I am getting rid of (unless they were in the last batch), anyway if you would like to have them please send me a private message and I will try to get them shipped out to you asap (well after I make sure I still have them).

It will hurt. It will take time. It will require dedication. It will require willpower. It requires sacrifice. There will be temptation. But, I promise you, when you reach your goal, it's WORTH IT! (Author Unknown). I feel this sums up my ongoing journey to a healthier me!

If the idea of a used suit doesn't squick you out, send Brenda (aka Seattle_Maui or Brenda C) a PM. She has a whole suit campaign going on, and I know she has tons of suits in lots of sizes.

I have had great luck getting suits on sale at Land's End. The Tugless Tank is my go to suit. I have gotten them for between 29.00 and 39.00 on sale. the regular price is 59.00.  You can get them with tummy support or not. There is a choice of bra types as well.  Love these suits...last well  and fit well.
