Handing out candy..NSV!
While handing out candy last night, I had a couple people come to my door who haven't seen me since before surgery (although they had ran into my son and he had told them I had surgery and had lost weight), anyway when I opened the door they were saying things like "wow" "look at you" "you look good" "bet you feel so much healthier" I had to agree with all of those comments. It was a great Halloween!
It will hurt. It will take time. It will require dedication. It will require willpower. It requires sacrifice. There will be temptation. But, I promise you, when you reach your goal, it's WORTH IT! (Author Unknown). I feel this sums up my ongoing journey to a healthier me!
We went to the movies. Did not need the temptation of having candy around. The movies we say were a testament to what happens to a human brain when you take drugs....
