GasX strips

Hi all... having trouble finding these at local drug store.  I have read they are great for right after surgery (mine is in 6 days). They carry chewable at the store and I know I can't have solid, but does anyone know if we can just suck on these like a lozenge for the same benefit or are they too gross?  Just wondering in case I don't find the strips beforehand.

I got mine at Wal Mart.

gas x strips did nothing for me! I used the chewable ones and they were great!

I agree with one of the above posters. I found the strips did absolutely nothing for me but the chewable ones worked well. I can't see why you can't take the chewables. It's not like you are going to swallow pieces of it. Check with your clinic or hospital before you take them. 

The hospital gave me chewables right after surgery. I prefer the strips because I don't have to chew any more meds,lol.
