Question for the women here.
I'm 28. I had my tubes tied about 6 yrs ago. My second RNY was in Sept. I got my period right after that surgery, but thats the last one I have had. I had a little bit of trouble with my potassium level and blood count right after surgery, but my dr says my levels are normal now. So I'm wondering if maybe its just a side effect of losing so much weight so fast. Has this happened to anyone else? PLEASE say yes, and PLEASE say it wasn't because of pregnancy!
Yes it could be the hormones released into your system from weight loss and stress that have caused you to skip periods. If you are concerned, get a test. It will be worth the $$ for the peace of mind
