So I have been tracking on MFP daily, drinking at least 64oz. Daily. Protein 65-80g. My vitamins daily....I am not quite 3 weeks out and I haven't lost in more than a week. My calories are about 850 daily.

Did I hit that stall? Or is my body going into starvation mode.

Is this the dreaded 3 week stall coming early like aunt flo? Haha

I think you answered your own question, lol.  Sounds like you're doing fine.  It's hard when you're first starting out and you want the weight to drop off everyday, it's exciting!  But there are stalls and things do slow down later on.  It WILL come off!

Thanks...apparently it can be an unwanted guest at 2 weeks as well. .

I should feel lucky, with the pre-op diet I am down 27. I have never lost 27 in a month.

I will count my blessings.

Thanks!!

You're doing the right things.  Did you take your measurements?  I always saw inches lost when the scale slowed down.  Week 3 is usually when the majority of new post-ops have their first freakout......stay off the scale for a few weeks.

Keep working your program....you're on the right track.  And I agree - usually I feel/see progress in my body/clothes before it shows on the scale.

I am right there with you.  I am three weeks out and have not dropped a pound in the last week.  Chin up, it will come off in time.

I'm 7 weeks out and I don't weigh at home.  I've been weighed at the surgeon's and PCP's scales...only.  I think, if you focus on the numbers, you'll drive yourself crazy.  My clothes fit differently and that's good enough for me!  When I go to the doctors, I've lost.  I'm thrilled to see the scale there and, so far, it's showing loss that my doctors are happy, too.  Not sure what I'll do when I hit a stall....?  We'll cross that bridge when it comes, I suppose.  But, I'm trying really hard to follow the rules and not stress about the pounds lost.
My NUT told me to not count calories this early out...to concentrate on getting in the proteins, vitamins and fluids.  The focus now is the learn to get the 3 meals, establish good habits and relationship with foods, then I will incorporate calorie count into the diet.

I had a bit of a stall, I just hit 4 weeks post op on tuesday....but I also had my monthly visitor for the first time in 11 months as well so I attributed the stall partially to that as well. I think we will all hit stalls and we just have to keep supporting each other through them!!!
