Can Stress cause your weight to slow down? I am going through horrible events in my life??
I think it can. Are you getting enough sleep? Lack of sleep can also affect our weight.

Oh my yes my dear it can!! I know it has affected mine. Just do what you can to manage through and don't let it derail you. Also like the previous poster said, SLEEP!! This and stress are huge issues in my life right now. But I have lost 130lbs since my surgery and you will prevail through it. My surgery was in january. I have about 70 pounds left to go. Hang in there and do what you can to sleep and relax!! Good luck!

When people get stressed their bodies create a hormone called cortisol. In women cortisol is notorious for making our bodies collect fat around the middle. So yes, stress can not only affect your weight loss it can also change the composition of your body.
Is there a way to get some relaxation?
