I just received a message from someone asking me to send them a donation of money for their surgery - any amount I can spare. Just thought I'd warn people on the board, I know it's "off topic" but I smell a scam. I forwarded the message to member services.

Make sure you Block that person so you don't get contacted in the future. And yes, there are scammers that appear here, usually noted as a Deactived Member. DAVE
