Liquid Tylenol - panicking!

I'm two weeks (and one day!) post-op today and had to come back to work, since I'm out of available PTO. I'm feeling quite a bit of pain, so I just took some of the liquid Tylenol my mom bought for me, since I figured Oxycodone + Work would equal trouble. As I was swallowing it, my friend was reading off the ingredients, and they included high fructose corn syrup and glycerin. I am now in a bit of a panic that it's going to make me dump or make me feel TERRIBLE. It was the only liquid Tylenol available (but says it's for children). Did I just totally screw up? If so, what "liquid tylenol" was I supposed to take? Eek!

It never bothered me. Used it for a couple months until I could swallow a whole pill.

I don't think they put enough sugar in it to have any real effect. I think it just helps for the flavor so kids will take it. My husband talked to the pharmacist about it before it bought it for me. She told him they don't list how much, but it not very much.

I was afraid of dumping on it as well, so I only took a little bit at first to see how I reacted on it.

I haven't had any problems with it since.

I do dump off of it! Man do I dump!

But, if you haven't dumped already from it, you probably wont. It usually happens within 10-20 minutes.

It's been about half an hour, so I guess I'm safe. I still haven't had any dumping yet, so I wasn't sure how it all worked. Whew!! Thanks!

I don't have problems with it but it only takes one dose to kick my headache. I started using Children's Liquid Tylenol when the adult liquid was pulled from the shelves.

Relion (name brand-found at Walmart and other places that have a pharmacy) has a sugar free liquid adult Tylenol if you dump on the regular liquid one.
