I can't believe it was a year ago today I was packing for the hospital and feeling like I was going on vacation!!!! Gastric bypass surgery was the best decision ever!!!! Yes I work at it everyday but I learned that all healthy people work at it every day!!!! That's my new normal!!!! It feels so great to be a size 8!!! Yes an 8 from a 22! I'm scared to death it will come back but I know it's up to me now. I have a tool and I have to work it. That being said I am not perfect and recently have been slipping but I know it's within me!!!'

This is a tool and I am grateful!!!

Decision made weight 265  SW 249 CW 153  9/4/12 next goal 145lbs  OMG

Happy Surgiversary!!!  You are so right, healthy people work at being healthy and if we want to be healthy then we have to make the right decisions.  Keep up the good work!
