You know that high levels of B6 may be really toxic and cause nerve damage - google that.

If you are looking for something to take as needed for anxiety or stress, lorazepam might work. I used to take it for anxiety attacks, only as needed, and it helped calm me down within 15-30 minutes. Since I only took it when I absolutely needed it, it did not become habit forming or make me feel stoned. Some people take it daily, but I found it worked great on an as needed basis.

If you are looking for something to take daily to even you ou, it is hard to say without knowing your history. I have had great success with zoloft, a mild SSRI. I have tried many other medications, but have found zoloft is the only drug that takes my edginess down while still keeping me balanced. Without it I am a grouch and get pissed at everyone for everything. Typically zoloft wouldnt be used to help anger and anxiety primarily, but it works great for me. I have been on prozac before, and it kept me calm, but also kind of foggy. It really can be a process, sometimes lengthy and stressful, to find the right drug for you. Does anyone in your family take a medication? Genetically, if someone in your family responds well to a certain drug, you would likely have a similar reaction.

Make an appointment with you PCP or a therapist to discuss your options. Good luck!

Wellbruprin can increase your anxiety a lot.  I think a mild anti anxiety may not be a bad idea.  If you start on an antidepressant and have some underlying psychopathology like bipolar illness,MIT could trigger mania.  I think that you should come up with a written out plan with your doc where you take something short term like Xannax when first at work as it is fast acting, for a specific period of time and then put together how you will come off it and when and stick to it.  Good luck to you.

My job has lead to an increase in my stress levels as well.  I used to get the worst tension headaches and nothing the doctor would give me helped.  I started on Prozac and Xanax and am doing great now!  I only take the Xanax when I have an increase feeling of anxiety but the Prozac is a wonderful addition to my daily routine.

Not all medications work the same on each person.  Talk to you doctor and try different ones.  I think I was on four different ones before finding the Prozac was the best fit for me.

Best of luck!

Lexapro. I hate the idea of drugs, but that thing worked for me in the past - with a very few side effects.
